GLEN KEANE
Founder & CCO
Glen Keane is a 38-year veteran of Walt Disney Feature Animation, training under Walt Disney’s Nine Old Men. Glen created many beloved Disney characters such as The Little Mermaid, Aladdin, The Beast, Tarzan, and Rapunzel. In 2012, he departed Disney, founding Glen Keane Productions as a way to further his exploration of animation, design, and film. He has since collaborated with partners such as Google Spotlight Stories and the Paris Ballet. Glen’s collaboration with John Williams and the late Kobe Bryant Dear Basketball received the 2018 Academy Award for Best Animated Short Film. In 2020, his animated feature Over the Moon, in partnership with Netflix and Pearl Studio, was released and subsequently nominated for the 93rd Academy Awards. Glen Keane also served on Netflix’s preschool series Trash Truck as both Executive Producer and the voice of Trash Truck, created by GKP Creative Director Max Keane.
MAX KEANE
Creative Director
Max Keane is an Emmy-nominated writer and director who created the Netflix original series Trash Truck, a show inspired by his son’s love of garbage trucks. Max served as Production Designer and Interaction Co-Director on the uniquely animated project Duet. Keane led production design on GKP projects with the Paris Ballet, Riot Games, and the short film collaboration with Kobe Bryant, Dear Basketball.
ANGIE SUN
Development Producer
Angie Sun is a story developer and creative director who has worked with studios, production companies, individual directors and writers, and brands to create compelling stories in all mediums, including film (live-action and animation), series, short films, mobile games, VR, and children’s books. Angie’s career started in film and TV development at NBC Universal, Warner Brothers, and Icon Studios. She worked in animation production at Pixar Animation Studios and as a Creative Executive at Creative Artists Agency, where she helped create, develop, and launch entertainment on behalf of corporate clients. Angie worked as a creative producer on the original series Trash Truck for Netflix Animation. Today, she is the Development Producer at Glen Keane Productions.
